When they stumbled upon the abandoned studio, they found a bunch of unmastered demo tracks and a handwritten note, which read:

"Friday: Complete Lumbering Dinosaur album -- 'Distracted on the Verge of Greatness'. Cash in, buy yacht, toy with tabloids, sell story.

"Monday: Get job, start family, disappear into obscurity. Forget adolescent fascination with silly pop songs and futile rock dreams."

It was followed by a second bit of scribble that said:

"Failed to finish album, 'Distracted on the Verge of Greatness'. Reason: Distracted on the Verge of Dependableness. Lumbering Dinosaur is no longer here."

Without hesitation, they released these demos to the public.
